The intelligent drainage control system is mainly adapted for the pneumatic brake accumulator of commercial vehicles, replacing the traditional manual drainage valve and automatically discharging the accumulated water in the cylinder. It can avoid potential hazards such as pipe corrosion, valve blockage, and brake system failure caused by water accumulation. The entire process does not require manual operation by humans, ensuring the long-term stable and safe operation of the entire braking system of the vehicle.

Working principle

※ The system operates in coordination with the electric control drain valve and the intelligent drain controller.
※ In the state of power failure and static, the drain valve remains tightly closed to ensure no leakage of the gas source in the storage cylinder.
※ When powered on and in operation, the electromagnetic valve core is actuated by the electromagnetic force, opening the drainage channel.
※ With the help of the internal gas pressure of the storage cylinder, the water accumulation is automatically discharged.
※ The controller simultaneously collects various signals such as temperature, handbrake, and CAN bus.
※ Based on the collected signals, it realizes full-automatic drainage system logic control. The drainage start and stop process does not require any manual intervention.

Core hardware composition architecture

The core components of the entire intelligent drainage system include: intelligent drainage controller, 8-channel electrically controlled drainage valve, heating relay, temperature sensor, forced drainage switch, fault indicator light, and CAN communication cable.

1. Intelligent Drainage Controller: Performs the core function of overall system logic operation and control execution.
2. 8-channel Electrically Controlled Drainage Valve: Responsible for the execution of multiple storage cylinder drainage actions.
3. Temperature Sensor: Collects real-time environmental temperature to provide basis for heating and drainage logic.
4. Heating Relay: Controls the heating circuit in winter to achieve low-temperature anti-freezing protection.
5. Forced Drainage Switch: Provides a manual forced drainage control function.
6. Fault Indicator Light: Used for system fault indication and alarm feedback.
7. CAN Communication Cable: Achieves vehicle signal transmission and communication interaction.

Eight-channel drainage configuration

The controller supports 8 independent Drain valve channel, which can be matched with multiple air storage cylinder models for separate drainage. Valve 1 is dedicated for drainage of the regenerative air storage cylinder, while the remaining channels 2 to 8 operate independently at different times. Each channel has its own control wiring harness and interface, and the channel numbers can be distinguished by labels, meeting the layout requirements of different vehicle air storage cylinder models.

Winter automatic heating function

The system is equipped with a Controller low-temperature heating logic. After power-on, it will automatically start heating when the ambient temperature is ≤ 3℃, and stop heating when it is ≥ 5℃. It is equipped with a 24V/20A heating relay, which is compatible with aluminum shell heating wire bundles. This prevents the drainage valve and pipeline from freezing and getting clogged at low temperatures, ensuring normal operation even in extremely cold regions.
